YOUTH '23 CONCLAVE on climate conservation and clean Air Punjab dated 26th July 23 was held at Dr. Khem Singh Gill Farmer's Service Center , in PAU conducted by ECO sikh Charitable society which is a USA-based global Sikh environmental organization fighting the climate crisis. It has planted 600+ forests.
From BCM School 5 students named Raghav Bhatia, Aryan Shrivastav, Smarth Singh, Sanyati Jain, Vanshika Sharma headed by Kanak Pandey TGT Social Science and Head of the ECO CLUB have attended the meeting. There was a bench of experts including Balmit Kaur (Principal of DPS) and Dr Prabhjyot Kaur Sidhu
Principal Scientist (Agrometeorology) at PAU. There was a very informative discussion session with Sanjay kanwar Sub Divisional Officer at Local Govt.Punjab
There was one workshop for the students. Participating students earned appreciation certificates under Clean Air.
This Youth conclave was aimed to strengthen young leaders existing networks, encourage interdisciplinary learning, provide a space for broader conservation storytelling, and add momentum to creating active space for nature and climate discussions.
There was an interactive session which inspired a lot to our student's team .
