Psychology students of 11th class went to Nishkam ashram,Biha pind. Students have prepared handmade cards,paintings,roses,performances and games for old people over there. All students tried to build rapport with them. They played the games like Guessing the word, cup and balls and passing the parcel. Old people participated very enthusiastically and were enjoying as kid . As students were assigned for taking case history of any one member over there, after talking with them students came to know about their life history and they found answers why they were there. Many people were suffering from mental health problems like depression, extreme stress There were many reasons for which these people came here, but the most comon was that their children doesnt want to take their responsibility.
At the end of this visit students realised the ground level reality of our society and its mind set .At end of visit there were huge shift of empathy and gratitude in students.
