4 August, 2023; in a stately Investiture Ceremony held in MATA THAKUR DEVI HALL, the Senior School Council took charge of responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. It was a solemn occasion when the young leaders were invested with duties for the session 2023-24. Rishika Swami as the School Captain, Tanishka Setia as the Head Girl, Garv Tondon as the Head Boy along with other council members, took an oath to perform their duties with dedication.
The event commenced with echo of the school song. Principal DP Guleria welcomed the Chief Guest; Ms. Abha Rani Singh, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Ludhiana, parents and other dignitaries. He congratulated the council and exhorted them to uphold the rich traditions of the school. Sh. Suresh Chandra Munjal, trustee, BCM Foundation also graced the occasion with his presence. In his address he sought constant support of parents since they play a pivotal role in shaping a child’s character.
The central and house council members marched majestically in sync with the beating of drums. Their parents too expressed their gratitude and satisfaction towards the school that their wards are receiving utmost care and grooming. The Council members were much elated to receive epaulettes and batches from the Chief Guest Ms. Singh. She appreciated the school for excellence in education and congratulated for being no. 1 school in the north India. She also motivated students to stay motivated all the time, perform duties with dedication and take time to keep their passions alive despite pressing schedules. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks and the singing of the NATIONAL ANTHEM.
