In a momentous tribute to its revered founder, Mahatma Satyanand Ji Munjal, the BCM Foundation hosted a grand celebration for his 108th Birth Anniversary at the Mata Thakur Devi Auditorium of BCM School, Chandigarh Road. Shri Suresh Chandra Munjal, Trustee of the BCM Foundation, warmly welcomed all distinguished guests, including Chief Guest S. Mandeep Singh Sidhu, IPS (Former DIG, Patiala Range), alongside Dr. Prem Kumar (Executive Director of BCM Schools), Principal DP Guleria, Principals from all BCM Schools and the College of Education, and several prominent figures from industry and education.

 

Shri Suresh Chandra Munjal stated, "Mahatma Ji’s teachings on purpose, passion, and selfless service continue to guide us. He emphasized commemorating Mahatma Ji not only in words but in actions. He motivated students to be focused on their goal like Arjuna concentrated only at the fish’s eye.” The Chief Guest shared his valuable insights and words of wisdom.

 

The event commenced with Welcome Greetings, Lamp Lighting, and a reverent Tribute to Mahatma Ji. Students from BCM 32 Sec offered a creative insight into his journey through a Musical Depiction of Mahatma Ji's Life. This was followed by a compelling Presentation on "Mahatma Ji: A Family Man & Philanthropist" by the BCM College of Education, a poignant Puppet Show titled "Path of Purpose" by BCM Dugri, and captivating Choreographies, "Life of Purpose & Passion," by BCM Focal Point students and a Musical Symphony by BCM Basant City.

 

A Prize Distribution ceremony recognized the glorious achievements of Class X & XII Toppers of all BCM Schools, the topper of BCM College of Education, and dedicated teachers and Principals. The memorable event culminated with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
