BCM School, Chandigarh Road, held its annual Investiture Ceremony for the Junior School Council on July 22, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the academic year. The event, held in the school’s auditorium, celebrated the appointment of new student leaders who will assume various responsibilities in the coming year.
The ceremony was presided over by the school’s Principal, Mr. D.P. Guleria, who administered the oath of office to the council members. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Vice Principal, Ms. Manju Bhatti, Block Coordinators, Activity Coordinators, and proud parents of the student leaders.
The program began with the school song being sung, followed by a welcome address. The Principal, in his inspiring speech, emphasized the importance of leadership, integrity, and service. He encouraged the students to be role models and carry out their duties with commitment and sincerity.
The ceremony's highlight was the formal swearing-in of the newly elected members of the Student Council. Clad in their official uniforms, the students took an oath of office, pledging to uphold the values and ethos of the school. Each leader was adorned with an epaulette and a badge, signifying his roles and responsibilities.
Jasnoor, the newly appointed Head Girl, expressed her gratitude and shared her vision for the year ahead. “It’s an honor to serve our school and my fellow students. Together, we will strive to achieve excellence and uphold the school’s traditions,” she said.
Parents were visibly proud, capturing moments and encouraging their children as they took on new responsibilities.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The event was a resounding success, with parents, teachers, and students applauding the new leaders and expressing their support.
