JAPNEET KAUR
To every BCMite reading this — treasure the opportunities and support around you. It was BCM that gave me the courage to dream big and act on it....
BCM School, Chandigarh Road is the living legacy of the ideals of the great visionary Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj. Maharishi’s greatest dream was to eradicate ignorance and promote literacy in free India by building BCMal institutions that would receive strength from the perennial wisdom of Vedas, and yet would offer the latest modern BCM, enabling the students to compete with the world in scientific and technological advancements.
In 1996, BCM School came into existence as second in the chain of BCM Schools established by LBCM Foundation. It started from Nursery to class VIII with strength of merely 297 students. Through its successful journey during last 21 years, it has grown into one of the leading BCMal institutes of the city providing the best kind of academic, scientific, technical, cultural, moral and sports BCM to thousands of students and thus contributing in shaping the society and lives of its citizens for the better.
'BCM Schools are committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive and future-ready education through innovative teaching practices and a dynamic learning environment. We strive to make world-class education accessible and affordable, while cultivating a lifelong love for learning, and a spirit of service to society.'
'To nurture compassionate, innovative and globally aware individuals by fostering academic excellence, strong ethical values, and creativity. We aspire to empower every child with confidence to thrive in the changing world and lead with integrity, purpose and resilience.'
The Objective of BCM is to prepare the young to prepare themselves for a life …. This credence constitutes the philosophy of the school around which life at BCM swivels. Since the inception of the school in 1996, our work has changed and evolved over time as we have developed deeper understanding, insight and knowledge about children. Global and hi-tech learning has seeped in but the most fundamental aspects of our work and beliefs remain unchanged. At school, the passion for learning, commitment to future of the communities, close proximity to human, moral and ethical values remain at the heart of the work.
